Distribute the Bhagavad-Gita As It Is to stop degradation of Humans by giving them the best spiritual knowledge.
Ignorance is the mother of all sins. All negative qualities, such as lust, anger, and greed, are nothing but a manifestation of ignorance. The giving of the gift of knowledge is the best charity. The best welfare is to help others discover their real nature, self-realization. The gifting of material goods only increases sense gratification and bondage to material life. Spiritual knowledge sets one free from the cycle of birth, old age, disease, and death (material life).
This is Kali Yuga, the age of darkness, ignorance, and irreligion. Only the Bhagavad-Gita can save humanity, because it's the only scripture that is spoken by God in person and also written by God in person.
Lord Krishna is the speaker of the Bhagavad-Gita and Ved Vasya who is an incarnation of Lord Krishna is the author of the Bhagavad-Gita and all other Vedic scriptures.
Until 5000 years ago, the whole world was called Bharat (the light), and there was only one religion in the whole world, Sanatan Dharma. But because of the influence of Kali Yuga, now the whole world is in darkness due to the irreligious principles of man made teachings. These irreligious principles being; meat eating, God being invisible, we are the body (reject reincarnation), killing for virgins and wine in Heaven, and so on. Only those who have the higher spiritual consciousness can bring light to the whole world again.
Out of the 6.5 billion people in the world, at least 5.5 billion are in complete ignorance as they are all godless. They cannot answer the simplest question 'Who is the Supreme person'? Only the Bhagavad-Gita answers this basic question. Lord Krishna is the supreme person (God).
Lord Chaitanya, who appeared 500 years ago is an incarnation of Lord Krishna and he stated that every Indian should distribute Vedic knowledge to the world. The reason being that this is the only hope for mankind.
By distributing these books you will benefit and by distributing to others, they will benefit. Most people will spend thousands on buying all sorts of non-sense things in life which won't help them at the time of death. Only the Bhagavad-Gita will help you at death. If you have listened to it, practiced it, and distributed it. All your material knowledge (computing, medicine, law, engineering etc..) will be completely useless at death.
"And I declare that he who studies this sacred conversation of ours worships Me by his intelligence. And one who listens with faith and without envy becomes free from sinful reactions and attains to the auspicious planets where the pious dwell." Lord Krishna (Bg. 18.70-71)
Do you truly want to help your friends and relatives?
Gifting material items only binds one to miserable material life for countless lifetimes. Thus by gifting material items, you are helping your friends and relatives to stay in darkness and misery.
"From the highest planet in the material world down to the lowest, all are places of misery wherein repeated birth and death take place. But one who attains to my abode, O son of Kunti, never takes birth again." Lord Krishna (Bg. 8.16)
